FUN FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY! Join TMSC staff on Friday, August 17* at 7:30 PM for an enlightening evening searching for stars and observing the night sky from the top of Talcott Mountain! (The clouds have not been cooperative this summer, but we're going to give Skygazing one more try before September gets here!)
Begin the evening under the 44 ft. dome in the Captain Alan M. Bean Planetarium, where we'll learn all about the night sky. Afterward, we'll head outdoors for celestial viewing of the red planet and other celestial gems atop Talcott Mountain! With a wide array of telescopes at our disposal, we will also be looking at the moon and searching for stars and other planets, including Jupiter and Saturn. It's a great way to spend a summer evening!
$8 General Admission/$5 TMSC Members
*PLEASE ARRIVE ON TIME! Late arrivals will not be allowed to enter the planetarium after the presentation begins at 7:45pm; they will, however, be able to participate in outdoor viewing with the group when the planetarium program concludes.
