Skygazing | Friday, June 22, 7:30pm

FUN FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY! Join TMSC staff and celebrate the summer solstice on Friday, June 22* at 7:30 PM for an enlightening evening searching for stars and observing the night sky from the top of Talcott Mountain!

Begin the evening under the 44 ft. dome in the Captain Alan M. Bean Planetarium, where we'll learn about the summer solstice and the night sky--including the stories behind the stars and the constellations that humans have created by virtually connecting these points of light -- drawing pictures in the sky.

Afterwards, we'll head outdoors for celestial viewing atop Talcott Mountain! With a wide array of telescopes at our disposal, we'€™ll be looking at the moon and searching for stars, planets (including Jupiter, Mercury and Venus) and other celestial gems!

$8 General Admission/$5 TMSC Members

*PLEASE ARRIVE ON TIME! Late arrivals will not be allowed to enter the planetarium after the presentation begins at 7:45pm; they will, however, be able to participate in outdoor viewing with the group when the planetarium program concludes.
