School’s out—but you can keep your child learning at Talcott. SCIENCE IS AMAZING! Whether we’re exploring the galaxy light years away or the biodiversity right here in our backyards—students are thrilled to learn things that are exciting and new. Every day at Talcott’s Saturday and Vacation programs brings a new sense of wide-eyed wonder for students.
Saturday Robotics | 4-8
Join our award-winning FIRST LEGO League (FLL) teams!
Students spend six weeks of instruction in our mountaintop robotics lab, complete with LEGO Mindstorms EV3 robots and expert coaches to help them design, build, troubleshoot, code and compete in the 2023 season. They’ll compete in at least one regional competition, with a chance to attend the State Tournament based on performance.
FLL is a great way to learn coding, engineering, and teamwork and to have fun competing with students statewide.

Vacations should be fun, and so should learning! That’s why students love spending some of their vacation weeks with us. During December and April vacations — Talcott’s programs for grades K-8 keep your child’s sense of discovery and accomplishment going strong!
With a wide array of programs that vary seasonally — everything from robotics to green energy, from nature to chemistry, from coding to geocaching — your child will be engaged and inspired to learn.
